About the Center:
Our unique program uses a multidisciplinary approach to the surgical treatment of morbid obesity with laparoscopic bariatric (lap band®) surgery. We are committed to providing the highest quality of individual and personalized care to our patients. We strive to ensure our program meets the physical needs, as well as the emotional and psychological needs, of our patients. We understand that the decision to undergo weight loss surgery is not easy, and we are here to support patients every step of the way. In addition to an extensive pre-operative educational program, we provide long-term support for our patients to ensure prolonged successful weight loss.
Our team is comprised of three surgeons, Dr. Kevin Montgomery, Dr. Robert Michaelson and Dr. Alana Chock, as well as a dedicated surgical team. The anesthesiologist group at Northwest Weight Loss Surgery has dedicated their entire practice to outpatient surgery. They have a special interest in providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical treatment for morbid obesity.Dr. Jessie Ahroni, our Bariatric Program Manager, Linda Ayers, a therapist, and multiple other healthcare professionals who assist in the care of our patients have had the Lap-Band® procedure. Many of our patients appreciate the personal experience of our 26 banded staff members.
Every member of the team takes pride in our program and the success of our patients. We cultivate strong personal connections with our patients in order to facilitate optimal surgical results, to maintain good communication; we believe it is paramount that all patients have ease of access to our team members.
Our Technology
Minimally invasive gastric band surgery requires the use of very specialized equipment. We use advanced state-of-the-art technology in order to consistently produce superior laparoscopic and bariatric surgery outcomes. Our Everett facility boasts a high definition lap band® operating suite with the latest technologically advanced systems. We use high-definition surgical cameras, scopes, monitors, and digitally advanced computers. These advanced technology systems act in concert to provide control and precision to the surgeons and enhance the efficiency of the surgical staff. This optimal surgical environment, combined with the skill of the surgical staff and preparedness of the patient, contribute to superior patient outcomes.
Northwest Weight Loss Surgery Center is accredited by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.) as a Certified Ambulatory Surgical Center, as well as a Medicare certified surgery center.
