What to Expect:

That's why it's important to note that LATISSE® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% works gradually and remarkably - with full results after 12 to 16 weeks. Once you begin treatment, you must continue applying the topical solution each night and follow the directions for best results. Remember results are gradual over time.

What you need to know about LATISSE®
LATISSE® is not a replacement for mascara, but rather a treatment for inadequate lashes, and requires a prescription from a doctor. We can do an exam and fill your prescription right here in our office. Though reported in less than 5% of patients, side effects after using LATISSE® solution may include: itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness, but should usually last only for a short period of time. Consult your doctor if the itching persists or you notice other symptoms as well. Less common side effects inlcude: skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids. You should not use LATISSE® solution if you are allergic to one of its ingredients. Talk to your doctor if you are using IOP-lowering medications, as LATISSE® may decrease IOP.
